From the producer's Mount George Vineyard in the heart of the appellation, this has 12% Petit Verdot within, the vineyard first planted in 1868 in these volcanic mountain soils. Juicy, dusty red currant and cedar are girded by firm tannins that present as chalky and lengthy, the soil a consistent echo on the palate.
