Pungent, ripe fruit is perfectly entwined with whiffs of smoke, herbs, roasted meats and cedar. This powerful, complex wine is already displaying some of the signs of age, a result perhaps of its generously ripe, somewhat alcoholic structure. Only 200 cases made. —P.G.
