The best of Sineann's Merlots, this powerful effort from Washington's Champoux vineyard brings muscle and verve to the much-maligned grape. The substantial cherry and plum fruit is buttressed with stiff tannins and plenty of alcohol, yet retains a sense of elegance. This wine won't reach its peak for another decade.
