Sineann 2018 Hirschy Vineyard Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

A new vineyard for Sineann, this seems at first a bit astringent and feels not quite pulled together at this young age (barely a year past fermentation). Stay with it. Tart pie cherry fruit, tannins that suggest dried tea leaves, and highlights of lemon rind contribute complexity that should pull all the flavors together with additional bottle age. Paul Gregutt
