85pointsSisters Ridge 2018 Sauvignon Blanc (North Canterbury)

Initially, reductive oniony notes dominate the nose here. But they mostly blow off after awhile and then the fruit-bowl aromas are given the chance to shine through: peach, passion fruit, grapefruit and touches of vegetal greenness. Things get a bit harsh on the palate again, where sharp acidity bites at the heels of the plump, juicy fruit. Christina Pickard
