This is a combination of 85% Merlot and 15% Petite Sirah. Shy on the nose, it slowly reveals aromas of pencil, bittersweet tobacco and clove, unfurling a juicy core of plum and dark cherry on the lengthy full-bodied palate. A strong presence of tannin and oak is felt.
