What a wonderful example of a lager done right, with layers of nuance and complexity that unfold with each sip. A gorgeous, crystal-clear amber color in the glass, stunning bands of lacing grace the glass as the liquid falls. The clean nose offers dainty notes of cracker, cirtusy hop, hot biscuit and firm melon, with additional accents of fresh grass and mint in the background. The medium-bodied mouthfeel is lifted by precise carbonation, keeping the toasted grain and subtly sweet caramel-malt notes bright and clean. The dry finish shows pleasant astringency that's complemented by a touch of alcohol warmth.
