Snoqualmie 2008 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley (WA))

As always, a stylish and well-proportioned effort from winemaker Joy Anderson. Blackberry and smoke wrap into a mid-palate with good focus and grip. Despite its modest price, this wine can go one-on-one with a thick, juicy steak. Tannins are just rough enough to give it some welcome muscle. Paul Gregutt
