Sobon Estate 2000 Fiddletown Zinfandel (Shenandoah Valley (CA))

From a pioneering Foothills Zin master, a boldly dynamic Zin that does a good job of taming the grape's wild character. Think of dressing a grizzled old mountain man in clothes from the Gap. The varietal's berry flavors are sharp and fresh, and it drinks a little tannic. It's a barbecue wine.
