Sojourn 2007 Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)

The most full-bodied of Sojourn's new Pinot Noirs, a rich, thick wine of Grenache-like proportions. Although it's delicious now in cherries, red currants, licorice, cocoa and sandalwood, it's a bit heavy and tannic. Could emerge like a butterfly from this cocoon sometime after mid-2010.
