Sojourn 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon (Spring Mountain District)

Better known for Pinot Noir, Sojourn is coming on strong in Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a very fine wine. It's firm in tannins and bright in acidity, with an amazingly concentrated core of blackberries, black currants and minerals. Really impresses for the tension between sheer power and classy elegance. Should age, too. Drink now–2020.
