Sokol Blosser 2011 Orchard Block Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

Editors' Choice

More than any other 2011 block designate from Sokol Blosser, the Orchard Block brings the rich black cherry fruit for which the Dundee Hills are famous. Still young and made from relatively young (11-year-old) vines, it's nicely concentrated, with streaks of cola and brown baking spices threaded through. A finishing lick of mocha puts a final smile on your lips. Paul Gregutt
