Sokol Blosser 2016 Old Vineyard Block Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

Named to honor the estate's original planting, this block is now in its second generation, having been re-planted in 2007. Pomegranate and red berry abound, leading into ripe cherry with drying minerality underscoring the fruit. The wine penetrates deeply and lingers gracefully, suggesting that it will continue to improve over the next half decade. Paul Gregutt
