Sokol Blosser 2016 Peach Tree Block Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

Many of the 2016s from Sokol Blosser incorporate scents of compost and chicken yard, as does this, but in general the fruit is sound and the flavors well balanced. Here the fruit runs to blueberry and red plum, with sweet spices and a streak of mocha. Paul Gregutt
