Sol Rouge 2015 Viognier (Lake County)

Editors' Choice

Cloudy in appearance, but super rich in aromas and flavors, this is a concentrated, fruity and richly textured wine. Toasted almonds and marzipan meet honeydew melon, pineapple and peach flavors that expand with each sip and coat the palate. But it's not unctuous, due to great underlying acidity that keeps it lively. Jim Gordon
