This is a fine vintage for this reserve cuvée, which spent almost a year in half new French oak. Those toasty flavors are well matched to ripe tree fruits, with a finishing touch of lemon oil. The core flavors are more apple sauce than apple, with streaks of orange peel and caramel. Paul Gregutt
