Soos Creek 2008 Champoux Vineyard Red Wine Red (Horse Heaven Hills)

Cellar Selection

The blend is 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc and a splash of Merlot. The grapes come from seven specific vineyard blocks, some of which are also sources for Quilceda Creek. It's got the muscle and verve typical of Champoux, the rich, full, black cherry fruit, and the polished, sexy tannins. A wine to enjoy right now, or to cellar for up to a decade or more. Paul Gregutt
