Sparkling Pointe 2010 Brut Séduction Méthode Champenoise Sparkling (North Fork of Long Island)
Made from a near even split of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this sparkler spent eight years aging on the lees and was disgorged in January 2019. It's rich on the nose in aromas of caramel-drizzled apple and lemon, with an earthy tones of white button mushroom chiming in. A slight hops note kicks off on the palate alongside frothy bubbles, but then it all dissipates into citrus, almond and toast flavors. Alexander Peartree
