St. Clement 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Starts with green olive, oak and blackberry-cherry aromas, and the palate impression is velvety and refined. There are some tannins, especially on the finish, but the flavors are rich and pure. Could improve after 2006.
