St. Francis 1999 Old Vines Zinfandel (Sonoma County)

In the absence of official regulations regarding the use of the term “old vines,” St. Francis insists on 50 or more years of age. These vines run closer to 80. The wine is concentrated and dense, with spicy berry flavors. It's dry and balanced. Acids are soft.
