St Hallett 2002 Faith Shiraz (Barossa Valley)

St. Hallett's entry-level Shiraz is made from young-vine fruit. It's satisfying but simple, as it's meant to be, with plum and cherry flavors, and just a little burned sugar, on the palate. On the finish, black plum and cherry surfaces, with hints of eucalyptus and black pepper that are more pronounced in the winery's top bottlings.
