This is warm, ripe South Aussie Shiraz at an affordable price. It opens with dense, slightly woody aromas of cherry chocolate and blackberry jam backed by a bit of damp earth and savory spice. The plush fruit and chunky oak notes continue on the palate, where fruit feels a little stewed and tannins a bit astringent. Christina Pickard
