Stadlmann 2018 Tagelsteiner Rotgipfler (Thermenregion)

Notions of candied orange peel blend with red apple freshness and ripe Mirabelle juiciness on the nose. There also is a lifted hint of mint. The smooth, rich, almost oily palate is so packed with flavor that you can almost chew it. The pleasant bitterness of the pithy texture seems rounded by sheer honeyed ripeness in this bone-dry wine. A wonderful expression of this indigenous variety. Anne Krebiehl MW
