Stanley Lambert 2004 The Family Tree Individual Vineyard Shiraz (Barossa Valley)

This is traditional Barossa Shiraz, aged in new American oak hogsheads, which have imparted a thick layer of vanilla and dill over the top of some lovely blackberry-tinged fruit. The texture is creamy, the tannins, supple, the finish infused with notes of coffee, spun sugar and spice. Drink now–2014, possibly longer. Imported by AUSA Pacific, LLC. Joe Czerwinski
