This is a sweet, simple sparkling wine made from 60% Chenin Blanc and 40% Chardonnay. It has a lemon/citrus nose, with some soapy scents that carry through in the flavor. The big bubbles and sugary mouthfeel suggest that it was made by the charmat process; in any event, it's a bubbly best suited for mixing with orange juice or something tart like cranberry juice, and served as a Sunday morning spirit-lifter.
