Sterling Albert 2004 Mt. Diablo Syrah (Contra Costa County)

Mt. Diablo is visible from San Francisco on a clear day. It's in Contra Costa County, the “opposite coast” from the City by the Bay, where the climate resembles southern Napa Valley. This Syrah is dry and finely structured, with a rich tannic structure shielding cherry, blackberry and mocha flavors.
