A hearty Chardonnay with pretty aromatics of pear and mandarin orange that's barrel-rich on the mid-palate yet crisp and long lasting. Aged in 60% new French oak, the wine is classically lush but also finely textured and retentive of enough acidity to be cellared 5–7 years or enjoyed now with a rich lobster risotto.
