A hint of passion fruit here, a dash of lemon there. This wine's nose is not willing to give too much away. The palate has generous apple and citrus freshness and also rings with richer, more tropical notes, such as mango. It's vibrant, dry and fresh but still needs to unfold fully. Drink 2020–2030.
Reviews wines from Austria, Alsace and England
German-born but London-based, Anne Krebiehl MW is a freelance wine writer contributing to international wine publications. Her particular weaknesses are Pinot Noir, Riesling and traditional-method sparkling wines.
