It was difficult to pick up any fruit on the nose of this wine. Perhaps Granny Smith apples and a bit of lime zest? More pronounced were the aromas of butterscotch, talc and lemon basil. The opulent palate features flavors such as lemon hard candies, sweet limes, toasted filberts with just enough acidity to hold it all together. Michael Alberty
