Medium gold in hue, this style of nutty, smokey Chard is love it or hate it. Cashews, struck match, stone and tropical fruit are backed by butter from malolactic ferment notes. The palate is equally oak and malo driven but this toasty, grainy-textured wine will nevertheless appeal to many.
