Storrs 2001 Merlot (San Ysidro District)

No problem getting the grapes ripe. Sweet cherries, sweet oak, sweet cocoa, but this wine has no residual sugar and must be considered dry. Good, mouth-dusting tannins and nice grippy acids. Next step: finesse and depth.
