Stratus 2017 Red (Niagara-On-The-Lake)

Black fruits highlight this blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Tannat. The tannins are velvety smooth, and as the wine rolls across the finish it's streaked with notes of coffee and charred wood. It was aged in 30% new French oak for 19 months. Paul Gregutt
