Strydom 2013 Cape Winemakers Guild Napier Pinot Noir (Western Cape)

Winemaker: Rianie Strydom. This opens with classic aromas of small red berries, cherry, foliage, cola and mocha. The palate is lifted and bright, with soft tannins and tart rhubarb and pomegranate flavors. The finish offers subtle notes of allspice, clove and white pepper. Drink now–2016. Lauren Buzzeo
