The fruit from this iconic vineyard is put to good use by the winemaking team at Succession. After five months on lees with bâtonnage, the wine spends several months in French oak, 58% of which is new. Aromas and flavors of overly ripe peaches, lemon oil, beeswax and an orange Creamsicle. The mouthfeel is creamy and the acidity modest. Michael Alberty
