Sur de los Andes 2005 Reserva Bonarda (Mendoza)

Heavily coated with coconut and oiled leather aromas, however, the palate recedes to Bonarda's typical angularity. The flavors of blackberry and cherry are solid, but the mouthfeel runs rough and sheer. And it finishes with some saltiness and leather. A good wine, not without its fault. Michael Schachner
