Sutcliffe 2016 Telluride Red (Colorado)

The nose blends aromas of raspberry, blackberry and black plum with rubber tire and jalapeño. The tannins are sandy and structured, with lilting acidity and flavors of tart dark berry, cinnamon, cedar and charred meat. A creosote note introduces the dry tannic finish, with lingering fruit flavors and peppery accents. Fiona Adams
