Sutcliffe 2018 Viognier (Colorado)

A floral nose offers highlights of white lily, fresh pear and orange oil. Apricot and peach flavors are joined by Satsuma orange on the thick syrup-textured palate. A lazy line of acidity is present but lacks some vibrancy. Tones of candied lemon, butter cookie and a hint of sweet cinnamon introduce the finish, with a final dollop of lemon pith. Fiona Adams
