Sutcliffe NV Torrid II Reserved Red (Colorado)

The nose combines black currant and blackberry with white pepper and sarsaparilla. Blackberry and black cherry are ripe yet full of tart, refreshing acidity, with accents of peppery spice and tobacco. Dry tannins offer a sandy texture and plenty of structure. Bitter oak reveals itself on the finish showing plenty of tang and pepper. Fiona Adams
