Swick 2014 Fairsing Vineyard Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

Though single vineyard wines can be impressive, there are times when they'd be better as components in a blend. This is the case here. Just on the edge of sour, the very tart grapey flavors seem overtaken by acidity, without compensating depth or complexity. Paul Gregutt
