A lot of technique goes into this wine: native yeast, 40% whole clusters, 22 days on the skins, 18 months in 38% new French oak. What results is a wine with wildflower aromatics, brambly berry fruit and layers of skin and stem flavors, augmented with some pretty baking spices. The fruit was sourced from a mix of Willamette Valley vineyards. Paul Gregutt
