This is a single-vineyard (Underwood Mountain), single-vintage, single-varietal sparkler—a unicorn in the wine world. The aromas pop, with notes of pear, citrus, biscuit, melon rind and a whiff of smoke. The palate is dry with a zip of acidity and plentiful autolytic accents. Tasty stuff. Sean P. Sullivan
