Tablas Creek 2003 Mourvèdre (Paso Robles)

Like others in California, Tablas struggles to find Mourvedre's soul. This wine shows flavors of blackberries, plums and chocolate, with an undercurrent of wild herbs and oak. Yet it's thick and soft. The challenge is to find life and structure.
