Tablas Creek 2004 Roussanne (Paso Robles)

Tablas Creek continues to struggle with this difficult varietal in their vineyards on the far west side of Paso Robles. Like the '03, this wine is fruity, with plentiful peach and vanilla flavors, yet it has a simplicity and sugary finish. Must have been the harvest heat.
