Lemon butter and plump pineapple aromas are cut by crushed gravel and an edgy citrus peel character on the nose of this blend of 55% Roussanne, 28% Grenache Blanc and 17% Picpoul Blanc. The Roussanne provides a rich midpalate, full of fleshy but not overripe baked apple flavors, dusted with baking spice and leveled by buoyant acidity. Matt Kettmann
