Tightly wound on the nose, this blend of 39% Viognier, 36% Grenache Blanc, 19% Marsanne and 6% Roussanne shows lime pith, wet chalk, river stone and a hint of pineapple on the nose. There are creamy flavors of pineapple and mango on the palate, yet the underlying ash and chalk tones keep everything in check. Matt Kettmann
