From a 1982 single vineyard planting, this thick, meaty and substantial wine includes 5% Syrah. Its plush fruit tones of black cherry and plum are compact and full bodied, with notes of black olive, sweet earth and toast that also factor in. The color is blood-black and the tannins are ripe and polished.
