Talisman 2014 Weir Vineyard Méthode Ancienne Pinot Noir (Yorkville Highlands)

Deep black plum and black cherry flavors lend fruit concentration to this full-bodied and mouth-filling wine from a tiny hilltop appellation in Mendocino County. Its dark fruit flavors are quite ripe but not sweet, and a good wrapping of fine-grained tannins supports the richness very well. Jim Gordon
