Tamarack Cellars 2004 Chardonnay (Columbia Valley (WA))

Well made, with a good mix of green apple and butterscotch, but less weight and density than some of the bigger wines. There's a bit of pineapple fruit also, hints of citrus and judicious use of the oak. The juicy fruit opens into light tropical flavors through the finish. Paul Gregutt
