Tantara 2005 Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Dramatic, young Pinot, immature and exuberant, showing huge, Dijon-inspired pure fruit flavors of cherry pie filling, tangerine zest, cola, cassis and charry, caramelized new oak. Tastes honeyed, almost sweet, but the tannins and acids keep things on track. Seems like one to drink early.
