Salty lemon and ripe apple aromas combine for a very inviting nose that also shows pineapple and creamy lily scents on this bottling from a historic vineyard. A fine line of gunmetal tension runs down the middle of the palate, which opens toward a fuller-bodied wine with lots of lemon peel and butter flavors as well as a nicely chalky mouthfeel.
